I went to Wilderswil with rail travel, it was magical. We had a very helpful tour guide, trips out every day which were suitable for mature people; the most spectacular being to Junfraujoch, up a mountain railway.
The hotel was family run, packed lunches were provided every day, including boiled eggs which were died red!
