Sighted on Salford quays it is accessible by bus and tram as well as vehicles. The war museum is a great venue in an impressive building with some good exhibits. My only criticism would be that the layout could be better, it seemed disjointed and there could be more hands on things for the children to do. Admission is free to all, it is part of the Media city complex so there is plenty to see and do in the immediate area and some great places to eat out.
