A great day out in Suffolk near Bury St Edmunds. Enjoy beautiful gardens and peaceful surrounding countryside as well as the house itself. The servants quarters are particularly interesting as it has been left almost as it would have been. There is a large tea room and outdoor patio area if the weather permits to enjoy a traditional cream tea or other baked goodies overlooking the large lawns with magnificent trees. A small plant nursery to purchase plants is close to the car park too. We visited it last September and really enjoyed our time there and would go again.
