Reasons for trip

In all honesty we only went to the House of Marbles as it was a wet and windy day and we had read a review saying that it was worth a visit.What a surprise and who knew that marbles could be so fascinating.There was a glass blowing demo and we were able to watch the marbles being made and all the different techniques for how they get the different colours and designs. Enough said, go and have a look!

We bought some to bring home and it was a bit like pick n mix used to be but we were very pleased we did as they look lovely in a glass display at home. Very nice gift shop and best of all it was free to get in.
