Just back from a week at Hotel Palmyra and had a great week. This is a low rise smallish hotel with excellent rooms, grounds and pool. The hotel is very clean and modern with rooms cleaned daily. If you go with an operator there may be extras to pay for tourist tax, safe, air-con and fridge dependent operators contract. The hotel is in the middle of things 100 meters to restaurants and shops and approx 150. to small beach but is really peaceful. The hotel does a really good breakfast including eggs and bacon and there are loads of places to eat nearby which serve huge portions. Bus stops to other resorts and town are at the bottom of the road and a free yellow bus to banana beach. There is a mini train into zante town which is 6 euros return and gives you a couple of hours, there, pick up a leaflet from local travel shops. All in in all great hotel in a good locations.
