The Parc Olimpo hotel in Letojanni is a quiet area. Perched on top of a cliff with daily access by a Funicular which is quiet a novel experience in itself. At the bottom of the Funicular you then have to take another lift to get to the town where you can catch the buses and trains. A hourly bus service to Taormina.The rooms are very pleasant and we found the food especially the deserts to be very good. The dining room gets very crowded and rather chaotic.Lots of different nationalities stay here including some coach parties. This is a hotel best visited in the low mid season probably May, early to mid June or mid to late September area best months to stay here. A good holiday.
