I’ve recently arrived home from a fabulous holiday in Rome staying at the Nord Nuova Hotel. The hotel is very good and is rated as 3 star accommodation. I found the hotel very clean and the staff helpful and friendly. The breakfast was buffet and continental style each morning, there were scrambled eggs and boiled eggs and certain mornings hot sausage. However it was adequate although my husband did say most mornings ‘you can’t beat a good english breakfast can you?’ Our bedroom was comfortable and the bed reasonably comfy. There was a kettle supplied in the hotel bedroom but I’d recommend visitors to take their own tea bags, coffee etc. as the hotel does not supply them. My favourite part of the hotel is the spacious roof top terrace it’s such a beautiful area in which to sit with a drink after a busy days sight seeing. There are lifts in the hotel and it is suitable for people with mobility difficulties. The hotel is centrally located , just opposite you can catch one of the many Hop on Hop off buses which is what we did on our 2nd day in Rome just to get a general feel of where many of the places of interest were. For the rest of our holiday we used the Metro which was very easy to use and each journey on the Metro was 1,50 euro each and was valid up to 100 minutes. Again, the Metro stations are close to the hotel. There are plenty of good cafes and restaurants in the area. I would definitely recommend this hotel and shall be returning there again when I next visit the wonderful city of Rome.
