Reasons for trip

Relaxation

Hotel Isabel is ideally placed for an Autumn break on the Costa Del Sol. It is situated right on the seafront, not far from the winding steps that take you up into Torremolinos old town. The hotel is B&B only but there are so many options for eating out, that unless you choose to stay November to March, you'll be spoilt for choice. We've stayed here three times in total, the most recent being October 2013. The rooms are compact with modern bathrooms and a modest balcony. There is a bar area where you can sit and read or have a drink at night, although in our experience it is always very quiet. Breakfast is self service and the choice is very good. Cold cuts, cheese, fruit, cereal and pastries as well as full English if you want it. Wifi is free and available in your room. Drinks are reasonably priced E3.50 a pint of beer. What makes this hotel a firm favourite of ours is its location. You can walk miles along the pedestrianized seafront to Benalmadena in one direction and maybe a couple of miles in the other direction towards Malaga (although you cannot get any further than Plaza Mayor as the beach stops you in your tracks).
