Go to Interlaken? Yes, go to Interlaken and be sure to stay at Hotel du Lac. Owned by the Hofmann family for generations serving their guests in the upmost manner as we can vouch for during our stay. Hotel du Lac is in prime position-the railway station-the lake’s boat station and the bus centre are all in close proximity. When you stay at the Hotel be sure to book half board. The menu’s are varied and cater for all. The dishes are a delight, the service also, everything suprervised by Ivo and Serafin .the maitre de’s in the lovely dining room. Breakfast was a multitude of choice, both hot and cold food-self service-coffee the best we have tasted. The rooms were excellent as were the facilities. The public rooms and reception are welcoming and the staff throughout warm and very very helpful, no detail too much trouble and attended to right away.
