A charming small hotel with stupendous views over sea & mountains. You can see Eze & Monte Carlo in the distance. Watch the super yachts leave the harbour or admire the Fisherman in his small colourful boat, lay out a big net, all alone. Room 2 has windows opening on to a private pool & villa below & the huge seascape. Some rooms have balconies. Breakfast is served on the terrace looking at the view.
You can walk to the Marina & there are plenty of little Restaurants to enjoy a bowl of steaming mussels & watch the world go by. In the other direction you can walk to a couple of beaches for a swim.
There is a big car park by the Marina which is free from October to the new season. Or you can park outside the hotel for 15 euros per day.
We ate at Captaine Cook restaurant in the evening. No view but very good service & food cooked by the husband of an old fashioned lady who speaks English & produced a splendid bottle of iced Marc made with Bougainvillaea flowers. The whole bottle was encased in iced flowers. Served in shot glasses at the end of the meal. Sweet but fun. Menus @ €28 or €32.
There is the famous Euphrussi de Rothschild villa & gardens nearby. Not to be missed.
