Visiting another Warner’s hotel for a spa day, we had a most relaxing and rejuvenating time. This was a special offer from Groupon vouchers and it certainly exceeded our expectations. Arriving on Friday morning it was quite busy around the hotel with porters rushing around guiding the new arrivals to the car parks and handling their luggage. Its an impressive house set in many acres of parkland. The Leisure Club is situated to the rear in the modern annexe where we could see the bedrooms still being prepared for new guests. They certainly have a quick turn around! These rooms were the standard/signature type in which we have stayed in other Warner establishments and are modern, comfortably furnished and quite spacious with private facilities.
On arrival at the Leisure Club we found the staff helpful and friendly and clutching our towels and robes, provided free, we proceeded to the changing room. Rather on the small side but with adequate facilities. The pool area was very pleasant with plenty of sun loungers around. The pool is of a good size and there is a small steam room and sauna. The jacuzzi was on the cool side so rather disappointed with that. The highlight of our visit was having treatments in their Salon Spa. My daughter had a pedicure (said it was one of the best she’d had) and my leg and foot energiser was a wonderful experience. Certainly put a spring in my step towards the Terrace Restaurant where we had a light lunch. Longish wait being such a busy day but worth it. Good quality food nicely presented. Beautiful garden views from here but one would be lucky to get a window seat.
Sadly our visit came to an end but we would certainly return for a longer stay as the staff are friendly and attentive and there is a good programme of entertainment, Passing through one of the comfortable lounges on our way out we saw happy guests exploring the lovely gardens and having spoken to a couple who have visited several times, we could see the attractions of this lovely old house for a relaxing break in beautiful Herefordshire.
