We usually stay with family but all their spare rooms were being used so we thought we would try the new Holiday Inn as we needed to be near Rochford for a 40th birthday celebration. We were very impressed with the greeting upon arrival. The room was ideal as it ovelooked the apron of Southend Airport and with a plane mad husband, he was in his element. The windows must be triple glazed as there was no noise from the take-offs and landings. There was everything we needed in the room and the bathroom was lovely. We had lunch and breakfast in the restaurant overlooking the airport and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and polite.
