Holiday Inn Glasgow airport. Have stayed here before and liked. Efficient and pleasant reception. Good room furniture with complimentary still and sparking water, and Mars bar (maybe because a ‘Gold’ IHG member?).

Dinner choices and taste (Salmon Supreme with cherry tom’s, avocado & caper salsa, and sugar snap peas n fine beans for #1wife – grilled cajun spiced chicken breast with sweet potato fries, buttered corn cobs, and cheddar slaw for me) has the edge on HIX (our other Glasgow Airport hotel of choice) … Restaurant service was timely and pleasant – though could have done without the musak ‘loudspeaker’ at our corner table.
Didn’t sample breakfast prior to our 0605 flight!
