We stayed here twice. Nice hotel, good service. Some road noise due to its proximity to high speed highways. Located only two short blocks from the Florence Metro station (a major metro intersection). This is very convenient and, in Prague, there is much in favor of staying in a hotel close to Metro.
Our room rate included a stunning buffet breakfast. Given the state of Czech cuisine, odds are that a good buffet breakfast will be your best meal of the day. Pay special attention to Prague Ham.
The hotel is about 3 km from Old Town Square. It’s worth walking one of two times to take in the flavor of the neighborhood.
The mini-bar was very noisy until I unplugged it.
There was a bottle of a fine Czech dark beer in the mini-bar for $US 2.50. Bought the same thing at the grocery store next to the metro station for 50 cents (US). We also tried, with great success, the cheapest beer at the grocery store – 9 US cents per bottle.
We also have stayed at theh Inter-Continental and The President. Compared to the Hilton, both the others had slightly nicer rooms, especially the President where we had a very large room in the rear that was exceptionally quiet. The President had an even better breakfast buffet, but the Hilton wins out for its greater convenience to metro.
