We stayed for two nights in Gypsophila Holiday Village Hotel Alanya. We arrived late at night, it was pouring down with rain. The paths that we took to get to our bungalow block were all flooded. We were allocated at the furthest block in the holiday village. Off course we were soak by the time we got to our room.
The whole holiday village is make up of bungalow block with 2-3 floor high. Our room was on the first floor. It was nice and clean and quiet apart from the noise of the rain. Our room got cold at night and the heater did not work very well. Getting to the restaurant for breakfast was quite a distance. It was worst when it is raining heavily. The food was fantastic. Breakfast was self service with plenty of choice of bread, pastries and at least 30 types of jams to choose from. Somebody said that it was jam heaven. The were hot and cold meat, cheeses and fruits. All nicely displayed. Dinner was very good too. Lot of soup and cold eat starter, bread, salad and about 12-15 hot dishes to choose from. There were chicken, fish, veal, lamb etc. The dessert was in plenty of choices too. There were Baklawa, chocolate mousse, jelly and cheeses. Absolutely delicious.
We were on the second day the rain stop. We managed to take a walk by the sea in the evening after dinner. It was a lovely holiday village. The only complaint is our room is too far from the restaurant, the swimming pool, the shops and the reception area.
We had enjoyed our stay. We would love to come back again when the weather is a bit better.
