I spent four days/three nights at Gunton Hall in October with three friends and we had a great time! As with all Warners parks, there are no children, and plenty to do.
The accommodation was clean, if a little basic, but they are gradually doing up all the chalets, and some of them look really nice. There are also some luxury chalets that we were able to look around, thanks to a very nice couple! Their chalet had a big screen TV, super walk-in shower, mock wood-burner fire, and a small refrigerator. The decor was superb. Much more expensive than ours though!
We played a whole host of games, from croquet, shuffle-board, curling, swing-ball, and even had a go at small-bore rifle shooting. We also took a stroll to the beach which is only ten minutes and a level path most of the way, except a short, but steep drop to get to the beach. Sand and stone, but would be wonderful in the summer.
There was entertainment every evening, which was of a quite high standard, including resident entertainers, and visiting Tribute Groups.
The food was EXCELLENT! Good choice, plenty of it, and very nicely served by some lovely, cheerful staff.
Thoroughly recommended!
