This is the 5th time we have stayed at this motel on Lido Key. It's old fashioned living in a time warp. A great location on the beach and only 15 minutes walk to the shops and restaurants at St Armands Circle suits us fine. There is a variety of motel rooms, studios, one and two bedroom apartments all with cooking facilities. It's a bit worn round the edges but everything is clean and tidy with maid service every day. They don't supply beach towels so remember to pack your own. High season here is from Christmas to Easter the prices drop by 40% at other times of the year. Sarasota is only an hours drive from Tampa airport with direct London Gatwick flights. Tampa airport is hassle free and much better than Orlando or Miami. Will we be back for a sixth time – almost certainly.
