Reasons for trip

Relaxation

Had a lovely couple of nights at this 5 star hotel. The hotel is in Central London and very conveniently situated for sightseeing. I have limited mobility and walk with a stick, but found that Tower Bridge was only a 10 minute stroll away.

The staff at the hotel are well trained and very helpful and polite. There is no hotel carpark but there is a car park very close by. As a bluebadge holder I was able to leave my car on the forecourt of the hotel for free which was marvellous.

We had breakfast on both mornings and we found the continental breakfast selection very good. There was juice, fruit, cold meats and cheeses, cereal, croissants, toast and marmalade/jam. There are also cooked breakfasts available.

My husband used the pool at the hotel which he was very enthusiastic about! Apparently it was better than our local Virgin one that he uses when at home.
We stayed in a ‘Superior Room’, which I think is their standard room. The finish on everything was beautiful, everything was of a very high standard. Beautiful bathroom, plenty of mirrors. The thickness of the curtains was incredible – I suppose to keep sound out and heat in. Bed very comfortable.

All in all we had a wonderful couple of days and I would highly recommend this hotel.
