I’m not usually a buffet eater as I find I do not eat enough to warrant the price. However, last week I went to the “Grand Buffet”:https://www.fallsviewcasinoresort.com/dining/business/grand-buffet at the Falls View Casino in Niagara Falls. My sister had a free coupon for a buffet meal so we split the price of one meal which made it more than worth it; although, the price is $20.99 including tax so not that high to begin with.
The restaurant is huge and has amazing views across the Niagara Falls area as the Casino and hotel are at the top of a hill towards the Horseshoe Falls on the Niagara River. The restaurant is very light and there seemed to be a lot of room to walk around; it wasn’t very busy when we were there so it may not appear that way at other times. The decoration is light and sparkly – think Las Vegas – with huge chandeliers. We had the buffet for our mid-day meal and found we were not hungry the rest of the day.
The variety of food is quite extensive and it was all very well cooked. There is sushi, Italian pastas and pizzas, roasts (wonderfully tender beef), cooked seafood, curries (the lamb could have been cooked longer as it was not as tender as it could be), vegetarian options, salads, and a plethora of desserts which are of various sizes so you can sample a few without feeling too guilty. The service is quick and friendly as well. After you are seated a server takes your drink orders and then you can head to the buffet as many times as you want. Leave your dirty dishes on your table and they will be gone by the time you are back with your next course.
The breakfast buffet is from 8:00 am to 11:00 am and costs $12.00. Lunch and dinner is from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm. The restaurant is inside the casino and the prices I’ve listed are if you show your players card to enter – it costs nothing to get a players card when you enter the casino. If you do not have a players card, the breakfast buffet is $1 extra and the lunch/dinner buffet is $4 extra. There is also a Sunday brunch from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm for the same price as lunch/dinner.
The only limit is time; they set a 90 minute deadline on each table but that is plenty.
