This was my second stay at Glendevon – both times on business. The rooms are fresh and clean, and all have a 'mini kitchen' and en-suite bath/shower rooms. The kitchenette facility means that you can stay 'room only' or pay also for breakfast – which I enjoyed in the breakfast room – though Charlie and Rebekah tell me that they'll happily take it to guest rooms for those who may be shy! Probably also handy for an extended/family stay, where going out every evening might not appeal? Location is handy for the town centre and beach (there's a lift down from the cliff top!). Rooms had a TV with VCR, and there's a video library for wet evenings/to keep the children happy 🙂 Free WiFi meant that my laptop didn't suffer Internet-withdrawal … Personally I won't be looking for anything better when staying in Ramsgate.
