I have never tried to get the discount offered by Silver Traveller before but thought I would try when booking for a Canary Cruise next year. This cannot be done on line but only when you telephone direct. If you are already an Ocean Member who gets a 5% discount by booking by phone you can then get the Silver Traveller 5% discount as well. It does make quite a difference and being Pensioners every little saving helps.
This year we travelled on Boudicca for the first time, mainly as it sailed from Dover and we live nearby. We really like the ship, the only downside is the buffet being shared by all of the main restaurants. It can get very hectic at times although trays are replenished as they empty it does mean that at times you are waiting for a certain item. But the staff and quality of the food are top rate.
