If you want to stay at a stylish aparthotel located literally just off of the Royal Mile in Edinburgh in the very quiet, historic St Giles Street, then the Fraser Suites is the ideal place to be.
Having previously stayed at, & been very impressed with the Fraser Residence in Budapest, my husband & I decided to try another Fraser property in the heart of the Old Town area of Edinburgh for our recent weekend break in the City.
The one bedroom apartment was stylishly furnished, with the added bonus of a small self-catering area within each room, including microwave, fridge, sink, toaster & enough crockery & cutlery for two. If you prefer, there is also a bistro restaurant within the hotel.
The large bed was extremely comfortable & the roomy bathroom had the benefit of fluffy towelling robes & slippers & lovely L'Occitane toiletries. There is a fitness suite on the ground floor & free internet access is available in all rooms.
All of the Hotel Team were very friendly & helpful & were able to provide advice on where to eat & what to see to make the most of the visit.
The area is full of exciting things to see (Castle, Holyrood Palace, National Museum of Scotland etc) & there are many restaurants, cafes & bars to cater for every taste.
We travelled to Edinburgh by train & it was just a 5 minute walk to the hotel. We would stay at the Fraser Suites again & would definitely recommend it.
