Although I have recently visited “Niagara Falls”:https://www.silvertraveladvisor.com/review?id=176644 for the day, it’s been many years since I was there at night. Last month I got the chance for an overnight stay. The name of the hotel, “Four Points by Sheraton Niagara Falls Fallsview”:http://www.fourpointsniagarafallsfallsview.com/, gives away its purpose; great views of Niagara Falls. I stayed here a few weeks ago with some friends and definitely recommend it. It was a birthday weekend for my friend’s two daughters and her husband booked the rooms for us with reward points. The girls were to get a falls view room and my friend and I (her husband was away on business) were to share a city view room. Each room had two queen size beds. We arrived a bit early and only the girls’ room was ready so we relaxed in there watching tv until our room was ready. Instead of the booked room, they gave us the room next door so we had a view of Niagara Falls as well, which was nice. Did I mention they were on the 17th floor?
Parking normally costs $35 for valet or $21 self-parking a night and, as we were coming from different directions and at different times, we had three vehicles between us. No problem; we parked across the road at the Fallsview Casino. As long as you make one bet with your player’s card in the casino, parking is free. There is a walkway on the 5th floor of the parkade over to the Hilton Hotel which is also attached to the Four Points by Sheraton, however the sign only mentions the Hilton. Once you get across the walkway, turn left for the Sheraton Hotel.
The only complaint we had about the room was having to call twice for our complementary bottle of wine that came with the booking; the girls had their complementary bottle of birthday champagne waiting for them. Other than that, the beds were comfortable, the hotel was quiet, and we kept the curtains open and watched the lights on the falls, the Skylon Tower, Fallsview Casino and the “Skywheel”:https://www.silvertraveladvisor.com/review/attraction/176603. Both rooms came with complementary bottles of water and free Wifi. There were coffee making facilities in the room but my friend went down to the lobby for some very good free coffees in the lobby and brought them up to our room.
