This cottage is a gem. Tastefully refurbished and extended by the owners, it is cosy, comfy and relaxing. It has 2 bedrooms, an upstairs bathroom and toilet, plus a kitchen, dining room, lounge and downstairs toilet. There is a courtyard garden at the back, but the front garden is a complete joy – it is private, but overlooks the meadow at the front, and has been well designed and filled with beautiful plants. Parking space for 2 cars. Mobile signal is a bit patchy, but there is a landline for incoming calls.
The owners provide a welcome basket, but not only that, the cottage is one of the most well-equipped we have ever stayed in, with many generous touches.
Thornham has 3 very good pubs, a village shop and deli. The local bus service is excellent, and free for over-60's if you have your buscard (you might need to check this). Titchwell RSPB reserve is very near, plus other good birding places. In fact we couldn't fit everything in in a week, so no shortage of things to do in the area!
