If you want to visit Reykjavik Iceland (and this is supposed to be the best year for viewing the Northern Lights) then this is a really friendly hotel. Beautifully located close to the front (upgrade to a sea view room for a gorgeous view) it is just a short walk to the old town and its attractions.

Only breakfast – a very good one- is served but every evening in the bar you can get soup and bread, very handy if you are off on a coach tour and don;t have time to go to a restaurant.

Rooms are beautifully warm with comfy beds – and the reception staff are always willing to help with suggestions for restaurants or to book tours.
