If you want a really special cream tea, I would suggest you visit The Forest Lodge hotel. Having just re-opened it is certainly worth a visit and is spotlessly clean with everything done for your safety. The tea itself is outstanding with plenty of choice of sweet and savoury. There was far too much for us to finish so what we left was nicely boxed up for us to bring home. The dining tables were well spread out so we didnt feel as if we were sitting next to other people. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
