The Welbeck Estate encompasses accommodation, Museum/Gallery, Northcutt Garden Center, Harley Cafe and Farm Shop.
The Farm Shop is a “foodie” heaven. Produce and products from the Welbeck Estate and elsewhere. The glass walled curing room is visible as you enter and starts your mouth-watering journey. The quality is exceptional (the butchery is award winning. Everything is well presented and the aromas of fresh-baked bread and estate cheeses are stunning. The staff are superb. The only fault is the temptation; it’s a good job the car parking is just a few steps away.
The Harley Cafe serves the best breakfasts we have had. The full English, with Estate bacon, sausages, black pudding, eggs and bread is glorious but waist expanding.
The Garden Center is extensive. We are not avid gardeners but several hours exploring the plants, accessories, tools, clothing, food, houseware and outside furniture is very pleasurable. There is a restaurant serving quality meals all day and is good value. A lot is under cover.
