We have used Emirates twice a year for the past 8 years. The Economy Class flights are more comfortable than most. Their choice of dietary meals are good, although very much the same.
Over the years we have noticed the difference in service. You now have to pay to book your seats. Sadly the practice of giving warm wet towels to clean your hands and soft drinks after the flight has started has been stopped. Drinks are now only offered at meal times. You are still able to have a drink but must request one.
The entertainment, although better than most, does not offer the same high quality as in the past.
I do appreciate it is a business and at the end of the day all about making a profit, but it is the little things that really don’t cost much that make people come back. Sad how things change.
