We are visiting the three Baltic capitals Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn with an older group.
Our hotel in Tallinn is called Ibis Central but is, in fact, 25 mins walk from the old town.
We can get a taxi to the outskirts BUT no vehicles can go inside the old town walls not even the rickshaw taxis. This means that my husband who uses two sticks and can only walk very short distances has not seen the o!d town and will probably miss a farewell meal organised for the whole group as it is too far for him to walk from where transport can drop us off. Visitors with limited mobility need to be aware of this until the city authorities permit some exceptions.
