This is my fourth year at the International Book Festival, and the weather has been real wonderful, again for the fourth year running.
There is always lots of writers milling around and willing to stop for a quick natter, as they make their way to talk about what they have been writing about.
Having a drink while waiting to attend a talk it is easy to catch a glimpse of political figures and actors, if you are a people watcher like me there is so much interest as the characters are often quite colourful.
There is often the opportunity to strike up conversations with people around. I have been here for two days on my own but have had plenty of stimulating conversations.
I have found a really good vegetarian restaurant so my eating needs are being met.
