With four adults and one (8-y-o) child we thought we'd be in the park for an hour or so, and then be glad to leave having watched him try all the rides. But this park is not just for children. From the outside looking in, the fortress should have been a clue! Its sheer size tells you that this is a bigger-than-child experience. Then there are three go-kart (pedal car) tracks – with carts suitable for adults and children alike. The narrow-gauge railway is also for everyone and a good variety of other activities, similarly, were being enjoyed by people of all ages. We thought we'd be there for perhaps an hour – but spent over three hours, without getting bored or restless. There's a cafe – serving good cafe food – and picnic tables if you want to bring your own. And we bought fresh, free-range eggs, from their own hens, to take away with us at the end of the day.
