A fun show for all ages, Dralion by Cirque du Soleil is a must see. Anyone I have ever spoken to who has been to a Cirque du Soleil production has raved about it, and I can see why. I recently saw Dralion and it was mesmerizing. From the clown mad conductors, to the acrobats, aerialists, jugglers, tumblers, singers, dancers, trampoliners to the musicians, it was a non-stop delight. I can juggle five balls while balancing on a ball – on the Wii, that is. But then, I can also skateboard and downhill ski at great speeds on the Wii. However, these talented acrobats and athletes are the real thing. Dralion is an Asian/Polynesian show with very colourful costumes, even some dragons. The giggles from the young man sitting behind us, all of five or six years old, were infectious. If you get the chance, jump at it. I know I’ll be back.
Cirque du Soleil is a Canadian company based in Montreal but they have a number of different shows touring around the world. Check out the website for one near you or where you will be traveling: http://www.cirquedusoleil.com/en/shows.aspx
For example, Kooza will be opening in London at the Royal Albert Hall in January 2015.
