If you find yourself near Lichfield, Staffordshire, Curdborough Antique and Craft centre is worth a visit. It can be found off Eastern Avenue, the Lichfield bypass, and is signposted Garden and Craft Centre. From the side road it is on the right, signed Antique and Craft Centre. It is based on converted farm building, with added buildings.
There is a wide range of thing on offer – an large antique shop, art, crafts, fireplaces, wood products and farm produce, and garden centre to mention a few. My favourite is Lime Sky Studio (which has a website). This is a new venture, and combines unusual craft items for sale and courses. The practical hands- on crafts range from ‘’visit and try”, taster sessions, day courses and term courses. I have tried Christmas crafts, drawing and am trying lino printing at the moment.
Well worth a visit – and it has a tea room as well of course!
