We have been to a Warner Leisure Hotel before but this is the first time to Cricket St Thomas. A lovely hotel set in beautiful and extensive grounds. The 2 days were very relaxing and the food was good but if you wanted to, you could pay extra and dine in an Italian restaurant that looked very good, but we were quite satisfied with the main restaurant, but at times it does feel busy and there is not a lot of room between tables – but the food is nice and plentiful.
There are a few lounges where you can quietly read and lots of activities are organised during the day – which you can choose to take part in or not. The evening entertainment is well supported and there is always time for some dancing, which many people enjoy.
The water gardens are worth taking a walk to and although the dining room is busy it is quite easy to find a quiet spot both indoors and out if that is what you want – in fact we always wonder where everybody disappears to!
Overall it was a very relaxing break away from any children!
