Picture a rainy day in Cromer, Norfolk. Picture 2 hungry walkers- myself, a vegetarian,my husband a pescatarian. He fancied some highly recommended fish and chips so we headed for a popular fish and chip restaurant only to find that the chips were all cooked in beef dripping (and probably the veggie burger too- I didn’t bother asking!) Then we spied Burger Craft just up from the pier and found they had a very varied menu including vegetarian and fish as well as numerous meat choices, of course! My husband had ‘The Swimmer Burger’, £7.00- catch of the day, mixed leaves and tartare sauce, which he declared delicious and I had ‘The Earth Black Bean Corn Burger’, £7.50 – avocado, goats cheese, rocket, mayo, and beef tomato on wholemeal bun, simply gorgeous. We also had a goat’s cheese and nuts salad with sweet potato chips.
It’s so hard to find a really good restaurant where we both get a great meal and if we’d had meat eaters with us they would have had a great choice too. Well done burger Craft for your inventive and delicious menu- a new enterprise that deserves to do well! We recommend a visit.
