On a very cold, wet day I met with an old school friend in Salisbury. Much catching up to do was necessary so we were looking for somewhere quiet, comfy and with good food where we could warm up and relax. We stumbled across the Cosy Club. What a lovely find! It’s part of a chain that neither of us had heard of. Cosy sofa’s, quiet little tables for two and much larger ones, not too close to each other. The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. I was so cold and needed a serious warm up, starting with their delicious butternut soup. I then had the falafel. They allowed us to ‘mix and match’ from different dishes and we had a feast. Meat, fish and veggie dishes offered. Excellent wine, too, all very reasonably priced. they allowed us to stay for as long as we liked which, on a busy Saturday, was much appreciated.
We left, toasty warm, well fed and having had a good natter. Perfect lunch.
Would seek out other Cosy Clubs.
