Booked to go to the 'Houghton Revisited' exhibition (now extended to 24th November 2013) and found this on their website. Very pleasant country house hotel with good, but not cheap, food. Pool is a good size and well cared for but there are a few yards exposed to the elements to reach it which was not a problem in late September but potentially could be. Arrived on Saturday afternoon as a wedding was finishing. Would have been mildly chaotic had we arrived earlier and better if we had been half an hour later. Combined beach walks and trips to Sandringham, Walsingham shrines and Holkham Hall to our original purpose. Highly recommended.
