Having stayed at this hotel 3 times before it was tempting to try somewhere else, however on balance as we had two young children in the party I felt that the services provided by the hotel for children were too good to miss. I paid for 7 members of my family to have a holiday, my daughter, her husband and two children, my two sons and myself, at significant cost. I knew that we would get value for money. The outstanding points of staying at this hotel are many. Firstly it is perched on the side of a mountainous area with outstanding views out to sea and across to other resorts along the coast and even across to Tenerife. There are several lifts and a regular free bus service down the steep hill to nearby Amadores Beach, a manmade sandy horseshoe shaped beach, furnished with sand from the Sahara. The hotel itself is 4 star, incredibly well cleaned and maintained by a really nice and friendly staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them and the restaurant and general front of house members of staff are incredible. The food is extremely varied and decent quality and there is even a restaurant alfresco that serves specialist meals which can be booked in advance. The holiday was booked all inclusive which meant that we need not spend another euro if required, therefore due to high temperatures experienced we were all well furnished with all types of drink ice cream and all food required. The rooms were of a decent size and quality with reasonable sized balconies where you could sit and just watch the world go by or the sun set. Facilities were excellent with two large pools (one of them an infinity pool) one child's paddling pool, kids club offering daily activities for both young and old children and the daily rota of keep fit (there is also a fullly equipped gym) aerobics, archery, volley ball, tennis, football, bingo, air rifle shooting. There are also Spanish lessons or you can just relax by the pool in the sunshine. The evening entertainment is fantastic for children with singing and dancing and the hotel staff also double up to entertain adults in the evening. The adult entertainment is colourful if not a little boring, when an entertainer is booked from outside it is far better and we were thoroughly entertained by a juggling act and I remember an act 5 years ago, a young Spanish girl who sang live and would have done the X factor good. There are two well stocked bars offering a wide range of local and national brands, I think I drank a gallon of Cava this year.
