Some good friends decided to take us to Cliveden to see the early snowdrops. The previous few days was cold and wet (still winter) but on the day we went to Cliveden, it was bright and sunny albeit slightly hazy.
It was already late in the afternoon and we only had time to do a quick stroll around the grounds. Even so, the views were excellent and the snowdrops were indeed already out. Can see activities catered for children (e.g. a maze). We did not have time to visit the historic house; but this visit served as a taster for a future more detailed visit. Incidentally, there is a posh/spa hotel on site too (if you can afford the pampering).
