The Neptun is well situated away from the main hustle & bustle, but very close to the beautiful Nyhavn & within walking distance to most of the main attractions. Although some (say the Tivoli) are a good 20 mins away. The hotel was clean & the staff welcoming. There was free WiFi & they were happy to keep your bags securely, when you have vacated your room, so you can continue your sightseeing until you travel to the airport. Perhaps the outstanding feature of this hotel is the provision of an inclusive full breakfast, afternoon tea & cakes & evening buffet. Choice is limited for the evening buffet but with Copenhagen being so expensive, it gives you an opportunity to see the city on a budget if you wish. Its also cheaper to drink in the hotel than most of the bars around the harbour. A few things to consider. The rooms we had were very small (404 & 518) the latter being smallest & quite hot. The double beds have single quilts x2 & a thin topper to a divan base. We found this quite comfortable even though its not what we're used to. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room, but there did seem to be a machine available in the dining room most of the time. There should be in room safes but our room didn't have one & the staff, whilst polite, didn't seem interested in doing anything about it. Overall we enjoyed our stay here & the staff in the restaurant deserve a special mention for their great service & cheerfulness.
