Dear Fellow Travellers,
We found this little brasserie just beyond the town car park off the high street just around the corner from Grandma’s Muffin Tea & Cake Shop. It is tucked away in a quiet alley with a billboard to show the way at the entrance of the alley.
It has a lovely patio for outdoor dining. Seating is on a ground floor and upstairs.
The atmosphere is old English with exposed beams and warm wood burning fire.
The warm reception by Pascal and his wife was very friendly and the service was top notch even during a busy period.
I dropped in for lunch and found it difficult to choose from all the tempting courses on offer.
Pascal is a patissier so all the pastries & cakes are made fresh every day. The fresh
coffee selection is excellent!
They have a very good selection of wines and beers/ales.
Lunchtime: £16.95 – Two Courses, £20.95 – Three Courses.
Evening: £18.95 – Two Courses, £23.95 – Three Courses.
* Vegetarian option available
Enjoy with their selection of traditional French wines.
