Reasons for trip

This is a Best Western Hotel situated next to the rail station where we spent this Christmas. The city link bus leaves every few minutes to take you right into the centre. The hotel has been renovated to its grand Victorian splendour. I especially liked the abundance of sitting areas, one in particular which had a real fire and lots of squishy sofas to chill out on. Nothing was too much trouble for the very pleasant and cheerful staff who managed to serve 400 guests quickly with piping hot food every meal.
