The house itself is stunning and well worth the visit. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful but we did not do the guided tour which may have been a mistake. However, in the afternoon we had a free guided tour of the garden which was really good and interesting, far more that I expected.
All in all a good day out and is highly recommended.
