For a central London location, this recently refurbished hotel under new ownership is well worth considering; it is so convenient to the museums, galleries and theatres (as well as trains of course, including easy access to London Underground lines). The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the restaurant is at a high standard and the public rooms and bars are well-appointed. The service is welcoming and friendly (and includes umbrellas when rain threatens).
The room rates are not cheap, unless you find special or last-minute offers, but it is less expensive than many comparable West End hotels – and somehow there is no sound of trains or railway station noises!
