Tucked into the market place this tiny restaurant is excellent value for both coffee and cakes as well as full meals. It also opens in an evening and caters for vegetarians and vegans. There’s a special board too. Comfortable seating and an outdoor garden for the summer, it’s a nice place to have a drink with friends and relax. Staff are friendly but not pushy. I can recommend chapter one bistro and there are plenty of cafes in Malton to choose from but this is my first choice.
