On Saturday I took my family for a celebratory meal at Chambers restaurant in Shoreham by Sea. All the food was cooked to perfection. Ranging from steaks with delicious mushroom sauce, another with pepper sauce. Fresh sea bass with king prawns and curry sauce. Minute steak with foresters sauce. Pork loin with plum sauce. All served on really hot plates. With various sides included. Prices for these mains range from £9 to £16. Starters included whitebait, pate, Atlantic prawns and mussels. All beautifully presented and with interesting dips included. These cost from £4 to £5.90. The portions were very generous and none of us were able to tackle a pudding all of which cost £4 to £6. Drinks were reasonably priced. They do add an optional service charge of 10%. he restaurant is in the centre of town, easy access with plenty of parking nearby and spacious inside with a small balcony overlooking the river. An excellent port of call.
