This centre is part of a larger farm complex with purpose-built workshop area where they hold lots of different art & craft workshops. Plenty of parking available – it is down a country lane off main A484 to Newcastle Emlyn – and vegetarian lunch is cooked onsite if you are on a whole day course – good value at £10 for lunch and fat chocolate brownies!
The hold weddings there and also have large yurts that are used in the summer, so a lot of things happening.
Had a great day making my Open Spine bound book at Carole King’s workshop on Wednesday. Lots of different papers to choose from for the cover so this time I picked a very girly, red-hearts on blue background – definitely not my usual choice! Bit fiddly in places, but we all finished on time and everyone’s was very different. I love my book so will use it for all the small sketches and paintings I have done over the years rather than just look at a beautiful – but empty – book!
