Spent a lovely 5 days in Istanbul at the friendly hotel the Celal Sultan. The hotel was convenient for the trams and walking distance to most major tourist sites such as the Blue Mosque with lots of restaurants close by. The weather was a lot colder than we had expected at that time of year which did spoil some of the fantastic views that Istanbul has to offer. The staff in the hotel were very good and we found they had upgraded our room on arrival. It was very clean and a generous breakfast was included in the price. The hotel has two lifts so is suitable for the less abled person.
