On the Whitley bay beach promenade the Rendezvous cafe is a wonderful warm welcoming break. Serving a selection of hot and cold drinks snacks and ice cream all very reasonably priced. The cafe still retains all its original charm and character and is an iconic building which has featured on TV several times. The family who run the cafe are kind and helpful. Its such a special place that holds dear memories for so many people. Highly recommended.
