Carnewas is a National Trust owned area on the North Cornwall coast a few miles north of Newquay. There is a car park (free for N.T. members but about £2.50 for non members). A small gift shop and cafe on site too. The best parts are the lovely walks along the clifftop with spectacular views and the steep steps down to the actual beach. The cafe offers a wide range of snacks and special lunches but the best thing on offer is the cream teas with their homemade scones. Well worth a visit.
